Haircuts

Old Family Movie

Here's an old video of Jack when we lived in Bethalto, IL. It's one of my favorites and I'm so glad I finally found it! I have some pictures too. Ahhh, 2005 memory lane.

A Day with the Wrights

Jack and Myles being 'airplanes.'
Andrew wasn't in the mood to be photographed, I guess. It was a ton of fun and we were glad we could go with Grandpa! Next time though, I'm going to bring a wagon and make Greg pull me around. I'm so out of climbing shape. It didn't help that the 'hill' wasn't even that tall. Gone are my Timp climbing days, I guess.

Aquarium

Here we all are at the North Carolina Aquarium. We sure look worried about that shark. I don't know how they all knew it was there. :) Thanks for visiting Uncle Charlie, Aunt Tracy, Ella, Lily, and Laila. You sure are cute!

My Son the Heretic

Jack: Let's make some money.

Me: We can't make money, it's Sunday. You can work on Monday to make money.

Jack: No, let's MAKE money. I'll get some paper and we'll cut it out with medal and it'll be a coin.

Me: Oh. That's called forging. It's frowned upon in most countries.

Jack: I'll go get the paper!

Me: How much money are you going to 'make'?

Jack: Elevendy hundred.

Me: Elevendy hundred? Is that like $1,100?

Jack: Ummm...

Me: Which one is better $1000 or 100 dollars?

Jack: One thousand is better, but I don't think the ice cream lady will take it.

Me: Your forging money so you can buy ice cream?

Jack: Yup. Because ice cream is better than church.

New Computer!

I finally got my new laptop that I've been eyeing since my birthday in March. I bought it off ebay, but I'm still loving it. And I'm REALLY happy since the day after I bought it my other laptop got sick. It keeps not showing up for work even when you call it in over and over and make it chicken soup. I even wiped it's nose a few times it's still sluggish and unappreciative. I know, rude right? So I officially(seriously, had a passing of the computers and everything) gave it to Greg and took over the new one when it came.

Now I have to put all my programs and pictures on this one, but I'm running much faster. So I might just have short posts with only one or two photos up the next few days. But don't worry. I'm still out here surfing around.

SMILE!

I told Myles to give me a big smile and this is what I got. I'm a little worried that later in life he's going to be the one kid the whole class hopes doesn't show up on picture day. Red hair, freckles and braces (have you noticed the teeth?) And yet all I can think when I see this is, "yup, here's a heartbreaker."

Happy 5 Month 'Birthday' AJ!

AJ's new trick

He was working on this all weekend. Hooray! Myles was helping with the camera, so it's a little wobbly. He scoots forward too, but I won't add the video of since it's only 10 seconds long. But I will add this:

Aj the 'lil heartbreaker.

My picky eater

This photo is kinda old- it's from visiting Utah in February- but from the first moment Andrew took it (yes, my little boy took this pic.) I knew it had to go into the blog. It's priceless really.

Notice the look of disgust. This is over one of his usual favorite foods. The taco. But since he's picky (*ehm* like his father) we got this with the emphatic, "Yuck!" I think it's becuase the beans and the rice were actually touching.
